Silvis Train Days & Classic Cars 2025 was an overwhelming success! We saw lots of happy families and plenty of smiling faces over the course of two days!

Railroading Heritage of Midwest America is very thankful for all parties involved who assisted us with making this event possible. We have had the chance to connect with our community in such a positive way- by giving back and offering an opportunity to connect with one another in a fun-filled event for the whole family.

Some members from the Mississippi Valley Regional Car Club were asked to bring in some very special vehicles for display during the Friday dinner, and we were not disappointed!

After our insider dinner was concluded, Railroading Heritage of Midwest America in conjunction with Gunnoe Media Group worked together to put on a very special opportunity with equipment on the RRHMA property. Union Pacific #6936, Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe #537, and Jeddo Coal #85 were all placed outside our historic Rock Island Railroad Shops and lined up for a professional photo shoot.

After our night photo shoot, our volunteers worked extremely hard to get prepared for the next day- our Saturday Family Day. We could not have asked for a better day for this event. Santa Fe All The Way modular HO Scale layout was setup and operational during our shop tours, and model railroad vendors were avaliable to everyone. The weather was warm and sunny, Jeddo Coal #85 was full of steam, and we had many happy passengers! Take a look at some of the pictures from this event down below by Isaiah Bradford Photography.
