Step back in time to the 1920s and experience the luxury of the Southern Pacific President Paul Shoup’s business car, SP 140 Stanford. This magnificent business car, delivered in January 1928 as the SP 140 Sunset, was later renamed SP 140 Stanford and continues to be a symbol of elegance at RRHMA. Inside, you’ll find four exquisitely designed bedrooms in walnut and mahogany, a fully equipped kitchen, crew quarters, and an observation room to take in the breathtaking views.
Delivered in Pullman green, Stanford also wore SP two-tone gray, simulated stainless and in the late 1990’s UP Armour Yellow. Stanford has now be returned to the SP’s two-tone gray by the hard working crews of RRHMA-Silvis.
